Series on Equity in Creative Placemaking Sponsored by Explore Asheville, Hosted by Leadership Asheville
Equity in Creative Placemaking is an approach that uses arts strategies to involve those who live, work, and play in a community, giving them a voice in the urban design process. Also hosted by Asheville Area Arts Council, the series featured national and local experts.

Important dates include June 1 at 5 pm, the deadline for Phase I applications for the Tourism Product Development Fund. Buncombe County nonprofits and municipal partners are invited to apply.

Explore Asheville’s Tourism Summit 2022: The Future of Travel was held at Omni Grove Park Inn on May 18, with more than 200 in attendance. Find links here to the photo gallery and the diversity training toolkit.
Applications for Phase 2 COVID Relief Business Recovery Grant Program Due June 1
$200 million is available to agribusinesses, massage therapists, farmers, and others in addition to arts, entertainment, recreation, hotels, restaurants, bars, food services, and others.
