Exciting plans are underway for major development in the riverfront area. A $14.6 million Tiger VI grant awarded by the US Department of Transportation and a $1.8 million Tourism Product Development Fund grant, combined with several other public and private sector investments, will help transform the area into a significant community asset and visitor destination.
