Music Campaign Launch – March 2016
Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
“Turning Up The Volume on the
Asheville Music Scene”
The Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted the ACVB Music Campaign Launch at Isis Restaurant and Music Hall on March 30, 2016. Tourism industry partners and community stakeholders gathered to learn about this exciting initiative.
The Asheville CVB is shining a spotlight on the local music community to grow Asheville’s national reputation as a destination for the arts into a place also celebrated for its music. This new initiative targets the music sector in all its layers including musicians, instrument makers, studios, venues and more.
Working with our partners, the Asheville Commercial Music Enterprise (ACME) and Independent Arts and Music Asheville (IAMAVL), the CVB is rolling out an exciting plan that will showcase Asheville’s music assets, and reflect the richness of the music scene.
Our generous host, Isis Restaurant & Music Hall, opened its doors on March 30 for this special gathering providing food and beverage treats, and live entertainment by Grammy Award Nominee and member of renowned Balsam Range, mandolin virtuoso, Darren Nicholson.
