The Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority will conduct its regular monthly meeting in the Ingles Mt. View Room of UNC Asheville Sherrill Center, located at 227 Campus Drive in Asheville. The agenda will be posted 48 hours in advance. All board meetings are open to the public. Following the meeting, documents and presentations will be posted here.

Options for Attending the Meeting

IN-PERSON: All board meetings are open to the public and the news media for attending in-person in Ingles Mt. View Room of UNC Asheville Sherrill Center, located at 227 Campus Drive in Asheville. Parking is available on UNC Asheville’s campus in the adjacent Sherrill Parking Deck (P9) and lot (P11); parking passes are not required during the summer. (See campus map.)

Public Comment

The Buncombe County TDA invites comments from the general public via the following ways:

IN-PERSON: Members of the public attending a Buncombe County TDA meeting in-person who wish to make public comments must sign in upon arrival and indicate their interest. At the appointed time on the agenda, the board chair will invite those who have signed up to stand and share their comments.

CALL-IN: Members of the public who have signed up in advance and are registered to attend virtually can call-in their comments (audio only) using the virtual Zoom webinar platform. Those who wish to call-in their comments must sign up via email no later than 12 noon on Tuesday, June 27, in accordance with the Processes & Protocols.

All public commenters will have up to 3 minutes to speak and agree to follow the Rules of Decorum. Go HERE for details. >>
