Easy Ways to Call Visitors Back to the Asheville Area with Heart

We’re excited to share marketing assets that you can use to join the Be Part of the Comeback campaign, celebrating Asheville’s resilience and encouraging visitors to plan their return. Together, we’re spreading the message that Asheville is open and ready to welcome guests back—from downtown shops, restaurants, and galleries to North RAD to the neighboring towns of Weaverville and Black Mountain, and beyond. With progress being made every day, now is the time to show the world that we’re open, and that travel to our deeply rooted, creative community means more than ever.

Three Ways for Your Business to #BePartoftheComeback

STEP 1: Make a short video, like this, featuring your spokesperson in front of your business’s open sign, sharing a message like, “_______ is open! Stop in and be part of the comeback” … Or say whatever feels natural to you—enthusiasm and creativity count. Post your video on Instagram Stories and tag @VisitAsheville. Add the hashtag #BePartOfTheComeback. We’ll reshare your stories and add them to a special highlight on our profile, creating a hub for everyone to see.

STEP 2: Download and share campaign images, logos, and videos. Use them to share your comeback story with your followers! Sample caption for the post: Asheville is calling you back again. Plan your return trip with heart and be part of the comeback.

STEP 3: Let’s keep it going! Share your news and events with us via news@exploreasheville.com. The editorial, public relations, and social teams at Explore Asheville are looking for your news—big and small—as we pitch comeback stories, plan coverage and gather material for email campaigns, itineraries, social content and videos. Planning an event? Make sure to post it to ExploreAsheville.com Event Calendar and email news@exploreasheville.com.

Tips to Inspire Visitor Confidence with Your Content

  • Add Dates: For photos and videos, considering adding a timestamp, date or message that indicates this is us today. Communicating current imagery helps show progress and build confidence to travel.
  • Show and Tell: Show off your current customer experience. Lively visuals offer both inspiration and the comfort of a welcoming and enriching experience.
  • Share Travel Planning Info: Link and share ExploreAsheville.com travel information and planning resources to help visitors make plans with confidence. Resources include new interactive maps, events, neighborhood insights, FAQs, news and what’s open.
