Committee Members

The Buncombe County TDA’s Tourism Product Development Fund Committee makes recommendations for funding projects that will generate new room nights for lodging facilities in Buncombe County, as mandated by state legislation. The Buncombe County TDA has invested in 46 cherished community projects through the TPDF grant program: greenways, outdoor recreation and sports facilities; spaces for the visual and performing arts; culture, history and heritage; family attractions and more.

TPDF Committee members are appointed by the Buncombe County TDA. A majority of the nine-member committee must be held by lodging representatives. The remainder of the committee shall be comprised of representatives with tourism, legal or financial expertise. Committee members can serve one partial and two full terms.
