2007 Tourism Industry Input Sessions

This is your opportunity to bring forth questions, new ideas, concerns, etc., that will be considered in developing the 2007-08 annual program of work for the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority (BCTDA) and the Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). Session #1 - Marketing & PR
2:00 - 4:15 p.m. - Marla Tambellini
This session will cover advertising, public relations, Web site, and the Asheville destination brand.

Session #2 - Convention Sales & Group Services
9:00 - 10:30 a.m. - Tim Lampkin
This session will include meetings and convention sales efforts and group services provided by the CVB.

Session #3 - Tour & Travel
10:45 to 12:15 p.m. - Dianna Jackson Pierce
This session covers motorcoach, AAA, international, packaging, and the Official Asheville Visitor Guide.

Phyllis Fiscus, Director of Visitor Services, will provide an overview of opportunities and programs available in the Visitor Center at each session. In addition, a representative from the BCTDA's new advertising agency, Luckie and Company, will also be present.

All sessions will be held in the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Board Room, 36 Montford Avenue, Asheville NC 28801, located off I-240, exit 4-C, on Montford Avenue.
